The creation of my Adirondack Accessories have been fueled by
my love of the Adirondack region of northeast New York State.
At the turn of the last century, wealthy American families
were building huge retreats known as Great Camps which could
hold upwards of 100 guests. The architecture and furnishings of
these Great Camps retained a rustic quality which has influenced my
work. Twig and bark furniture and accessories incorporated the use of
native local timber as decorative enhancements both in the interior and exterior
of these camps. Enduring through the past century, this woodworking has become
known as the classic Adirondack style. I have strived to continue this American
tradition through my woodworking.
